Was Farah Naaz a hit actress?

Looking at her Wikipedia page, it looks like she was a very busy artiste during her peak. Wow! So many movies to her credit in a single year. Did this woman ever rest?

Was she a hit actress? How's that Tabu is considered more hit an actress than Farah?

She was beautiful and did some good movies like faasle and yateem.she was not a great actress though and started putting on weight.you have to see her with Aamir khan in some flop movies to believe how huge she had become.

I liked Farh better than Tabu, acting and looks wise. Its sad she started putting on wt and then got married to Dara Singh's son...

I doubt it. I think she was as famous as Neelam. No idea. Didn't she start playing in Zee tv soaps in the late 90s? I remember seeing her in some show with Sikha Swaroop (another beautiful actress that never got anywhere).

No idea, tbh. But wasn't Shikha Swaroop a model? She was an actress too. Shikha Swaroop and I have a connection here. Hehehehe. For my Urban Planning class, we had to write a 5-page report on how socities changed over the years. I chose a topic that dealt with the changing behaviors between neighbors within the same society. And guess what, I randomly put SS' name as one of my neighbors and got caught! Hahahahahaha!

Yeah, I came to know that later from my professor who'd caught me. 😆 She was an Indian-American. She was like (roughly!) "So, do you live where Bollywood is?" I was like 😕. That's when she said she knew who Shikha Swaroop was. It was totally embarrassing! Come on, you can't blame me. It was a stupid Community Studies / Urban Planning class and I had to write a long, boring single-spaced 5-page report. I had to add some BS in there. What REAL LIFE experience are you expecting from a spoiled, carefree 21 year old college-going brat?! 😆 I just put down whatever random name struck me at the time. Hahahahaha!

Farah did typical hindi movies of that era (singing/dancing roles) with a very few exceptions.. no doubt that she is pretty. Whereas Tabu has done mostly author-backed roles .. she has proven her acting talent and less of dancing skills (she looks really awkward in the bollywood dances) ..

actually i guess the thing was .. she put on alots of weight all of sudden which results she didnt get any offers
