Chennai Express Heads For ALL TIME RECORD Distributor Share

The film is holding strong in the second week and collections will go over 35 crore nett and the 98 crore distributor share of Three Idiots which was second to Ek Tha Tiger in terms of share has already been crossed by Chennai Express.

The record nett collections of Three Idiots is more of a stiffer task and although Chennai Express can get there it will be very close run thing. At the moment Chennai Express is looking at range a of 195-205 crore nett depending on what unfolds over the next two weeks.

Chennai Express is set to collect the highest distributor share ever and be the second film to go over the 100 crore share mark. Who asking about DS the film will top the list BOI congirmed that and will beat ETT about the net collection depend on the third week but at least the film will be 195 cr

Chennai Express 2nd Monday Collections

Chennai Express has collected Rs 3.8 crore on its 2nd Monday at the box office, with total net box office collections of 185.72 crores in 11 days.

The film is likely to cross the 190 crore mark today, as overall business will pick up by around 30-40% on Raksha Bandhan.

The marketing team behind Chennai Express continue to relentlessly promote the film with banners on social networking websites, promotional videos on Youtube and advertisements on newspapers. To celebrate Rakshabandhan, Shahrukh Khan has designed a special offer of 'Buy 2 tickets and get one free' at multiplexes across the country. This offer is not valid if you book tickets online.

1st Week – 156.71 crore
2nd Weekend – 25.21 crore

Top 10 Distributor Share of All Time: Chennai Express 2nd

The distributors share of Chennai Express has crossed the 100 crore mark and now only lags behind Ek Tha Tiger in the 'All Time' list.

The film has gone past 3 Idiots (99.02 crore) and all other major grossers. By the end of its theatrical run, Chennai Express is likely to beat the distributors share of Ek Tha Tiger too.

Chennai Express All Set To Become 2013's Highest Grosser

There is a high chance that Chennai Express might become the year's highest grosser by tomorrow. Given that today is a school-college holiday, the film's occupancy will again soar. Moreover, the film's makers have gone for a better business strategy as they are all set to give out one ticket free, for every two tickets of the film! This might result in the film's box office numbers to see a growth.

Recording a high number of repeat audiences given the popularity of its lead actor Shah Rukh Khan's fan following, the film will see a higher collections tomorrow.

With that there's a good chance that the film will cross the lifetime income of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani which rests at 190.03 crores.
