Finally, the trailer of the most-awaited film of the year, Rakesh Roshan's Krrish 3, has been released. After working on the script for three long years, Roshan Sr presented the first trailer of his film along with the superhero of the film, son Hrithik. Alas, leading lady, Priyanka Chopra, was unable to attend the event as she is currently in the Los Angeles. However, the occasion marked the presence of the negative leads Vivek Oberoi and Kangna Ranaut, along with music composer Rajesh Roshan. Sunaina Roshan, who is also the producer of the movie attended the do.

It was my dream to make this film but it would not have been possible without my team. The action in this film takes you to another level. We have tried to keep it Indian.

The film was made only because of my father. When he told me he wanted to make a sequel to Krrish, I was ready. But he said, we wouldn't make the film till he was absolutely confident of the script. He took almost three years to work on the script and we finally made the film.
On Hollywood films
While we were working on this project, the new Avengers and Superman films released. They were all awesome as they had raised the bar and taken it to another level. We were left wondering at that time as to why they released their films just as we were about to? There were two options ahead of us, either back out or face competition. We thought, why not compete with them and find out what we can do? It might take a while to get there but we will.
On his father's work
My father was very confident of making this film happen here. So, all the special effects and VFX of our film have been done by our very own people in India. He decided to encourage people here.
On casting Oberoi
I wanted to play a negative role but my father said just one word 'NO!' So we sat down to decide who would play the negative lead. We wanted to make a list of actors but my father wrote just one name and that was Vivek's. Thank God I am not playing Vivek's role because, after looking at him on screen, I felt only he could pull it off.

I loved working with the Roshans. They are genuine and large-hearted. I believe if you have a legendary director like Rakesh Roshan, then you can play any character convincingly… he is brilliant… he has created the character. Credit goes to the writers and Rakesh sir.

It is the first time I am playing a negative role. I have an unconventional look. I am sexy but wicked.

Composing songs for an action film is very tough. But both father and son have an ear for music so they knew exactly what they wanted. They even came up with melodies and that made my work easy.
Krrish 3 Trailer First Response and Analysis.

In today's time one just can't compromise on anything as we are fed Hollywood Super hero films every month. But those are made on 1000+ crores. So, its hats off to Rakesh Roshan Sir for trying to make Krrish 3 with a budget of 80-100 crore in pocket (Actual budget is unknown and we have estimated the film cost). He is the pioneer of Indian answer to Sci-Fi and he is a legend in his own right.But before that let's talk about the Trailer of Krrish 3. Krrish 3 trailer released yesterday was more of an extended teaser trailer and characters and theme is introduced. There are every chance that another theatrical trailer might be unveiled as it is still 3 months to release. Hrithik Roshan is looking outstanding as Krrish and every bit of his looks like a super hero. There is only a glimpse of Priyanka Chopra and there is nothing much to talk about her in trailer. Kangana Ranaut is introduced, but everyone can predict its her animated version in trailer. Vivek Oberoi voice is also heard in the background, but he is not shown in trailer. Story is not much revealed in the trailer, hence can't comment on that much, but going by Rakesh Sir track record it should be superb.Krrish 3 Trailer mostly revealed the VFX of the film. So, talking straight VFX of Krrish 3 is good and best till date by Bollywood films, but is still far below the International level. Yes, there are some scenes like Hrithik's close up as Krrish which are of international standard and outstanding. But there are lot of scenes such as Kangana Ranaut intro, Man with Long Tongue, Plane flying over Hrithik's Head and the buildings in backyard, which can be easily identified as animated version. Means VFX is inconsistent, in some scenes VFX is on par with Hollywood, but in some scenes it is as low as Cartoons seen in DD 10 years back.Yes, we know everyone will now talk of budget and how it is possible to make film on Hollywood standard in 100 crore. But we have seen movies in India, but not from Bollywood such as Robot, Magadheera, Viswaroopam, Eega which have a lot VFX work in the film and which looked much realistic and on par with Hollywood. So, if those can do why can't Bollywood.Ra.One last Bollywood biggie with big VFX work also gone through the same trend which is Krrish 3 is facing now. Ra.One VFX also had few scenes on par with International standard and few scenes looked total cartoon. Also, there is more coincidence as both films VFX is done by Red Chillies VFX studio. Red chillies need to push their envelope more in coming days as they are more films whose VFX work will done by them. There will be lot of scrutiny in coming days from public as they will always compare any Indian Sci-Fi to Hollywood. Public are not used to Budget things, but they are fed Hollywood Sci-Fi every month.Coming to box office collection after watching the trailer. Krrish 3 is not doubt a 100 crore film even before the film is shot. But with Krrish 3 we are setting benchmark of 200+ crore or even 250 crore nett. After watching the trailer we are not sure whether Krrish 3 can go that far. Only time will tell. On positive side Rakesh Sir has not revealed any storyline, emotions and songs in trailer which are his highlight and definitely buzz will be even more after those promos are released.
