If Besharam works then I guess we have to accept Ranbir is the future superstar. I don't know what Besharam is about and have to wait to see the promos.

^ I think he is a superstar already, just not the biggest one. He has surprised people not only with YJHD but also with Barfi! People thought it wouldn't do well at the BO since it was an art film, but it worked and the main reason along with the story was Ranbir! So I am pretty sure its not only me who went to watch YJHD in the cinema just because it had Ranbir! He does have a strong box-office pull and has gathered a huge fanbase! Not only that.. I feel people, which includes non-fans, have started trusting him and his choices now so even the neutral audience might go to the cinemas for Besharam just because it has Ranbir. For example I am not a fan of Aamir but I did go and watch Taalash the day it released simply because I don't think he is an actor who will ever disappoint me!

So what if it doesn't have a known actress? Did Ready have a famous actress as the main lead? What I feel is that expecting it to break 3I's record would be wrong.. but it'll definitely do very well at the BO and again surprise a lot of people.
