i have read many reviews on this movie and i obviously dint wait for any and saw this movie FDFS itself and found it Fab!!was completely blown over!!👏
1 thing which i fail to understand...reviewers saying did milkha really do this or did he really do that!!
1 reviewer went to the extent of saying did milkha join army for a glass of milk!!this was published in a national daily! did he have grlfrnds!! 😆 Milkhas own wife has at length talked abt his girlfriends and is very comfy with it..dunno y do media reviewers find it soo appalling😆 milkha even said that one shud live a full life ant not concentrate on jsut one aspect! 😆
i m amazed by such ameteur reviewers ...and somehow twitter esp seems to be ovreflowing with them!! every1 is a reviewer there!!😆😆
The fun part is that mikha is very much alive n kicking and he even gave 2 hrs interview on news channel before the release where he agreed that what all has been shown is true! he agreed abt the partition hallucinations, his depression post the olympics loss...he loosing his concentration during that split second...his foist love biro(it was cute n so honest of him to talk abt her..he is 77 now but still remembers everything...and he is happily married to his later love 😊), and then his many girlfriends...also he honestly said that his motivation to run initially came from the glass of milk that he wud get daily!😳 now when the guy himself is talking and Ok with it being shown on screen..i dont understand how can reviewers question this...its a story abt an individual and his struggles and the guys is very much there to object in case he feels its wrongly potrayed!
For the negative reviews that i read online..i would have been nice if they came up with some solid sore pts rather than talk so amatuerish!!
As much as I enjoyed the movie...i also loved milkhas interview whcih were aired on news channel ...the way he talks would give u goose bumps literally and also few tears in ur eyes!! i wish we had known abt him earlier!!😳

You jot down points wonderfully, exactly my sentiments I cant write so nicely, are you tere mere? 😊

Some people say it the traumatic childhood part was exaggerated. I cant even imagine what he has gone through in his childhood or even more than that which wasnt shown in movie.
More than all, his determination to excel is what shown in his whole journey in movie enen though he was haunted with the ugly experiences. I would chose to take something rather than being judgmental about his life {because its a biopic and not fictional work} And may be thats the ultimate motto of film too...youngsters need such example.
He was honest to tell all the stories himself be it his childhood, his teenage, his affair or the reason he lost in Olympics.

Can you share any video with me where Milkha himself says about his life? I am now more interested to know from person himself...how did he went through all this.

😆 Yes I m tere_mere!!Thanks for recognising!! That was my old username and i just felt like changing it after my fave character on telly!!
For the video, yes I found it here...
It aired for a much longer time on television...but i think this is what is there on youtube:
Like u say, even i completely agree that rather than be judgemental about him, we should embrace it and get the inspiration that inspite of havinggone thru so much...he still emerged victorious. What was shown in the movie was tip of the iceberg..he went thru much more.
For a second, even if i imagine myself in such circumstances..its crazy..coz yes v r not talking abt fiction here but reality...
I can imagine that inspite of having seen his entire family wiped out...and no support system much..he still went on to become what he is and achieved what he is!!
u know..before this movie..my fave actor was aamir khan ..n no one came a close 2nd...and sportstar was none!!
but after watching I have realised that farhan is also no less in terms of talent and he is now at the top in my rankings alongwith aamir!! 😃
N yes Milkha is some1 whom i idolise now...
his autobigraphy comes in august -The Race of My Life --and I m sure going to get a copy of it . BMB is derived from this book.
I honestly dont care much abt what critics say or feel!! The movie touched my heart and movies rarely do that to me!! 😃
Also u can read abt him here more..he sure has led an interesting life!

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag Monday Collection Update.

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag at places on Monday is holding well and at places showing big drop from Sunday. In Delhi and Gurgaon City film is again showing good occupancy in Evening shows. Whereas in Mumbai it is registering significant drop.

BMB started slowly on Monday Morning shows. Occupancy remained in lower end in Noon and Afternoon shows. But has picked up immensely at places from Evening onwards. In Delhi and Gurgaon film is registering an occupancy of around 70-80% in Evening shows which is considered outstanding for Monday. In Mumbai however occupancy is in lower end with 35-40% on average.

BMB will mainly ride on Multiplex power from now on. Although film has registered significant drop, good collections in Evening and Night shows, should put up again a decent total for Monday. If BMB shows a drop in the range of 50% from Sunday, then expect it to do well in the weekdays. BMB is thus aiming for a 5-6 crore nett mark for Monday as cut off and if it somehow achieve this mark, then expect a good first week number.

BMB has collected around 32.25 crore nett in its opening weekend.

As per the estimated figures which are being quoted, the opening weekend collections of Farhan Akhtarstarrer Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is over 32.25 crores. However, the exact numbers are still pending but the film has surely beaten Himmatwala and Shootout At Wadala in its opening weekend run at the domestic box office.

Farhan Akhtar And Sonam Kapoor in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag Movie Stills

The John Abraham starer Shootout At Wadala had an opening weekend income of 30.80 crores andHimmatwala had earned 31 crores. In a matter of 3 days, the film has smoothly surpassed the numbers of these films. The film has also evicted Raanjhanaa from Koimoi's Top 10 Opening Weekend list. Raanjhanaain its first three days had managed 19.90 crores at the domestic box office and now with Bhaag Milkha Bhaag occupying the 3rd position, the film is out from the list.

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is preceded by the hefty numbers of Race 2 and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani on the list. The positive word of the mouth and Farhan Akhtar's popularity will enhance the film's pace at the box office, evoking better numbers in the days to come. Given the film's huge budget, it is important for it to aim for earning higher inorder to become a hit.
