The scene where Sonakshi goes to Ranveer when he avoided her for painting class. She says "Can't you at least say you love me, just to please me?" He - silence.

you just want comments on that scene?

well regardless lol..I loved that scene..didn't Ranveer say something like everyone's staring at me (sab karay karay, mera moon dekh rahain hain), and then Sonakshi goes, yeah well so am I ...really liked that bit 😆. Oh and I loved how she goes into her car and then gets all flustered and comes right back. She expected him to follow her or so. 😆 Her character had that innocent/childishness to it which eventually fades away because of what happens.

I personally loved the way flashbacks were incorporated into some of the scenes...especially when Sonakshi's presently trying to write and then the ending with the pathiyaan.

I loved how Manmarziyaan was used in the background score every now and then. That song instantly clicked with me while hearing the audio (before watching the movie of course), and then while watching the movie till the very end when it was used - I just fell in love.,

I said this in my review, but will say it again..after so long..you finally come across a movie which has meaningful songs. Every song makes sense within the movie..there's no w-t-f songs/lyrics whatsoever. And, I loved every song while watching the movie for that very reason. So glad there was no unnecessary dancing involved. 😆..or any dancing at all for that matter.

This is kind of irrelevant but I still wanted to share.

My mom also watched the movie with me..and I feared she would dislike it. My mom never saw any of Ranveer's movies..and has seen one or two of Sonakshi's films..so I expected my mom to dislike everything about the film as she usually likes big starrers.

After the movie was over, I was mesmerized 😆..and I kind of dreaded asking my mom what she thought right that very second as she's veryyy picky..but to my surprise my mom said she loved it..and she loved it A LOT. She also loved both Sonakshi and Ranveer's performances..ahh..so I felt thrilled about that. 😆

I feel if my mom can like it, anyone can..as she's so darn picky. 😆..but, I feel that just proves how a good and sincere film, with good performances will be appreciated regardless.

Also, another irrelevant thing was I found some obnoxious people laughing at the most not so funny things..which was crazy annoying. They were these annoying teenagers ahead of me which giggled every ten minutes for no reason. So, possibly watch the film during the evening or later..when there's no annoying teens trying to ruin the atmosphere.
