Now don't get me wrong "pretty" is fine, but not EVERY DAMNED FILM has to be about hot young people mating and matching up. There is just a world of other plots and cinematic themes out there so with talent and a bit of luck Vidya will work for quite a while.

Ghanchakkar tanked. Vidya's next project Shaadi ke Side-effects (SKSE) is a comedy. & Vidya sucks at comedies. That movie has a good chance of bombing at the box-office.

After SKSE her next project: Raising Arizona... kidding 😆... She didn't sign any movie after SKSE, so I'm assuming her plan is to raise her family after that movie. After 3 or 4 years break, she'd try coming back in BW. But in BW no one is irreplaceable. Ek Vidya chhutti pe gayi, toh doosri Vidya uski chair mein baith gayi.

i don't think Vidya could be in that league of kat-kar-PC becoz of her movie selections. so its unfair to compare her with them. Vidya's was giving successful films till kahaani and TDP took her BIG but those films never looked liked typical commercial materials. Vidya would be around in her own league. she will continue to act and she might play the roles of bhabhi and even maa very soon. but that's what she is...she is her league totally.

What if the producers refuse to spend money on that league... As I said on my previous post... changing taste of public.
