I'm just super excited. Also won't make a difference if it doesn't do well at BO but I hope it does.

Lootera is a classic example of how a solid background score can give the film soul and momentum. Terrific score.

cocktail had good music...but i cant remember its background score as such...

the only BG scores i remember are all the rahman and ilayaraja ones like JTYJN, sadma, Lagaan, swades, Bombay etc etc...

i actually think a good BG score makes the performance seem better than they actually are...😆

It wasn't something epic like the ones you've mentioned, still I liked some of the pieces.. Like the one during Meera struggling in London montage... the one during Gautam proposes to Meera (Last one)... & the one when Gautam & Veronica drive toward Kunal's place. Though I feel Salim-Sulaiman had stolen most of the pieces, I loved the BG music of the movie.

@ bold: Ditto. I can recall someone once said on this forum that she likes a movie for its BG scores (I think, it was Terenaina or Lensa). Meri bhi kuch aisi hi hai 😆

On topic, anupama chopra is on a month break...bummer coz i wanted to hear her views on the film...

from past history, shes a sucker for romantic movies so she might have ended up liking it...maybe she'll do a catch up review session once the second season of the front row starts next month...

Same. I just started loving her as a critic recently. She tweeted about the Teaser and also on how she'll miss reviewing 3 best films (Lootera, Milkha and Ghanchakkar). I hope she still tweets atleast.

^^i doubt it...shes taking a month break from movies totally...i can see why it can get frustrating ...she has to watch soo many movies a year...its good to take a break every now and then...
