Jiah Khan's suicide made many Bollywood celebrities react to the drastic step taken by the actress.Sonam Kapoor, who is known to speak her mind and not get trapped into the politically correct response, speaks to us about the sad demise of Jiah.

Sonam claims that no man is worth your life and depression needs right treatment. "I can't judge anyone who is going through depression. It's something I will never understand. All I say is that nobody should feel so hopeless and nobody should go through that feeling. It's incredibly sad and incredibly tragic," said Sonam.

"I think no man is worth it and you don't want to do that to you family. I can never pretend to understand what that person feels and at times such conditions are medical. All I would say is that get help and depression should be treated. I think it's important as she was a beautiful girl and very young. Depression is medical and hopefully we have right doctors. Jiah's suicide is unfortunate and if people know about doctors they should put online and let people know about help lines" expressed the Kapoor daughter.

On being asked about any advice for the aspiring actors, who might have to go through failure, Sonam said, "All I would say that you should look at your life in the right way. My ambition in life is not to be number one actor."

"Everyday when I get up I say I have attitude with gratitude. I am grateful that I have a family who loves me, people recognize me and you need to be grateful. If you achieve success be grateful. One should not look at life as success of career, but whole rounded life. Career should be secondary but it should be important. So in last five years whenever my career goes up or down, I have always decided to be fine and that's why I am happy," concluded Sonam.

Very sensible Interview by Sonam.I agree with her.

Jiah's family knew what she was going through..perhaps a family of 4 women were unable to rescue Jiah from an abusive relationship for various reasons..😔

Im hardly Sonam's fan but this is one of the best things that has come out of her in recent time. See Mr Bachchan this is how one should give advise without sounding condescending.

great words from sonam...indeed true...its as anil kapoor once sed in an interview tht he always advices sonam nt 2 b upset by failure and always encourages her 2 do good work and not think abt the hit and flop aspect of a film... becos sumtyms evn in a flop film an actors work can b appreciated a lot...
sonam is right, i reali liked hw she emphasised tht no person is worth giving ur life up for..no matter hw much u love them...thts y they say dnt make any1 ur evrything, cos once they leave u'll b left with nothing... its sad 2 hear abt jiah...and i reali feel for her mum... i dnt knw the exact details and she may hav been very depressed n tht bt stil feel tht she shudnt hav gone through with such a big step...no problem or tragedy is bigger than ur life
