Yes, it is confirmed. Karan Johar will direct ranbir kapoor in his next film after 'Student Of The Year'. The film is likely to go on the floor early next year and it will not be a period film. We have learnt that KJo will fly overseas for a long spell to collaborate with his writers on finishing the script.
On his part, Ranbir will complete shooting Abhinav Kashyap's Besharam first. In July, he should start Anurag Kashyap's Bombay Velvet. As of now, he is meant to start Karan's next film for his company sometime in the first quarter of 2014. Rest of the cast for the film is yet to be finalised.
