This is so sad. Loneliness, not by choice, kills people. Models, starlets. I remember reading an article where a senior actress, I think, Asha Parekh mentioned that they were shocked by some friend's death and decided to meet every week and go out often. That's why we see a group of old actresses at every movie premiere. It's good that way.

I am shocked at the insensitivity of some people here. You cannot just come right out and say such harsh and illogical things.

Obviously nobody wants to kill themselves, its sad she would do this but I am sure she had problems to deal with that she maybe could not handle. Maybe it was a boyfriend or career problems...It may seem like a small thing to you, but for her it could've been huge or tormenting. Again, you don't know her, you don't her circumstances, for someone to come in here and mock the whole thing is just pathetic. Please refrain from doing so.

RIP Jiah and god bless her family.

From what I read she was suffering from depression. Depression is a major public health problem and a leading predictor of functional disability and mortality. Yet substantial numbers of depressed primary care patients remain undiagnosed or under-treated, reflecting attitudes and practices of physicians, patients, families, and health care systems. Anyone suggesting suicidal ideation warrants involuntary admission in hospitals here in US. People should be educated about this medical condition. Patients need understanding and care and not ridicule or looked down upon.

How can we expect sensitivity from those people who only dream about men's private parts? 🤢 This is the same person who called Aaradhya ugly and always wishes for Abhishek and Ash divorce. Everything is a joke for her
Anyways, RIP Jiah. Hope God give her family strength to overcome this tragedy.

Absolutely shocking. I was just reading her tweet a few days back. Terribly shocking. Suicide is such a horrid and a sad thing. One cannot imagine the reasons and the pain that leads up to make that decision. Right or wrong, its still heart breaking. May she rest in peace. Prayers to the family and close ones.

This is shocking! I wonder if its because of a failed career or personal. Either way there is too much stress these days one everyone. May she RIP and may her family and friends have the strength to cope with their loss.
