This is so sad. Loneliness, not by choice, kills people. Models, starlets. I remember reading an article where a senior actress, I think, Asha Parekh mentioned that they were shocked by some friend's death and decided to meet every week and go out often. That's why we see a group of old actresses at every movie premiere. It's good that way.

So I don't know how many of you know about my love for singing. But its always been my dream to come on SRMGP to showcase my talent. My mom somewhat supports me, but my dad ridicules the idea every day. He keeps telling me I'm at no level to be on those shows. They have so much training and you have nothing. He puts me down every day.

My dad also discourages me when it comes to my education. He thinks I'm somewhat of a failure and that I should have graduated from college by now. He constantly compares me to my cousin and other people. So much negativity from him. More than what I'm saying.

And trust me whenever he talks to me, I'll cry so much. But the next day I'll move on. I've learned to cope with all of this and accept the way things are. Its just what it is. My dad won't change. But I'll show him that I can do it and make him proud one day. He still doesn't think I can do it.
