I was extremely shocked to hear this news. I just can't believe Nafisa (Jiah) Khan passed away and the reasons... we would might never know.

It's so sad to read her twitter timeline now, she even replied to me once on twitter for wishing me a "Happy Birthday" and she use to be one of my favorite actress in Bollywood.

Though... committing a suicide is a Haraam in Islam (since she was a Muslim):

"He who commits suicide by throttling shall keep on throttling himself in the Hell Fire (forever) and he who commits suicide by stabbing himself shall keep on stabbing himself in the Hell-Fire." (Bukhari, Janaiz 84)

May Nafisa Khan,

Rest in Peace. 😭
