There may be hordes of stars who are sitting pretty on top with the coveted '100 crore' tag but the perfectionist of Bollywood, Aamir Khan's film still holds the honour of being the highest grosser at Indian box-office with 202 crores.
Aamir's 3 IDIOTS made waves in China and became the highest grossing Hindi film in China. It opened the new territory for Indian Cinema. And now it seems to have conquered the Japan territory as well!
With the release of 3 IDIOTS, the prolific producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra, filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, Reliance Entertainment and actor Aamir Khan have opened Japan as a region in a main-stream way. The film is now charming Japanese audience and breaking all records at their Box-office. It has become highest grosser Hindi film.
