Exactly. Madhuri was born to dance. Simple as that.

Haha I can believe that, even for break dancing I assume you need to know them. Nothing wrong with them, but like you said there's a technique to everything. 😆 Khair I will agree that geenrally Katrina's most alive when she's heaving and popping...the rest she's as good as a walking dead zombie. 😆

Has the current generation passed over Madhuri?? So does the current generation still love Anil Kapoor or Jackie Shroff the way ppl did in 90s? 😛

Of course the generation which never grew up knowing the legacy of Madhuri or Sridevi would certainly not be that excited with the prospect of seeing them on screen. And the fact is who will hoot and whistle for a 45 yrs old at the expense of looking like a pervert 😆? Usually in Indian culture, anyone married is Bhabhiji or Behenji and is respected. I think thats the case here. We all are quiet ageist and I don't think any 20 yr old guy would hoot or whistle for 45 yr old woman unless of course he is an ardent fan.😆

I do agree with the ppl who are saying that Madhuri should perhaps reinvent herself. But reinventing oneself shouldn't come at the expense of restricting one's passion. In Madhuri's case its dancing. Why should she stop dancing? She was born to dance. Even though Madhuri was an excellent actress, she is known more for her dancing. I am happy as long as we get to see her dance in movies or in reality shows like JDJ. 😳 I am also excited she is doing Gulabi Gang and Isqhiya 2.

There will be no one like Madhuri. Today is not the generation of talented actresses and Bollywood dancers. The generation has moved on and its not about elegance, beauty, simplicity, and gracefulness. It's about showing some body, moving those hips, and vulgarity. I'm sorry, but it's the truth. Have you ever thought why haven't we seen many good scripts like we used to in the 90s?

Madhuri brought so much grace, elegance, and simplicity to all her dances and even acting. She never showed any vulgarity in 'naughty' songs.

With the generation moving on, her hype hasn't remained the same. But that's obvious. But if any fan hears her name today, they will fall in love with her all over again.

Look at YJHD's promotion strategy. They let the audience know well in advance that Madhuri would be doing an item song for the film. That dragged at least 50% of the audience to theaters to watch the film. Not because of Ranbir or Deepika, but simply because of the fact that Madhuri had a SA in the movie. That right there says a lot.

And why is Jhalak getting as much popularity as it is? Half the reason is Madhuri. If you see her performances on that show, they are to die for.

Sure, she has faded now with the newer lot taking over. But she's very much alive in today's generation.

I would find it appalling even if I wasn't a Madhuri fan. This hasn't got anything to do with me or anyone else being a fan. The comparison is funny and appalling at the same time. Katrina was popular before Chikni and Sheila? Really? and are you seriously telling me Katrina wasn't vulgar? During Ishq Dance I thought her boobs would fall out of the screen and into the waiting laps of the front seaters. I wonder whose the perverted and blind fan here.

As far as Madhuri's songs are concerned, yes they were double meaning, yes the choreography was vulgar, yes the picturization was cheap. But what made it work? The fact that Madhuri made it all look sensuous and sexy rather than vulgar and cheap. Now this is only my opinion and no one is asking you to agree with me. There is exactly the same amount of difference between Madhuri and Katrina as there is between a robot and a human being. Rajnikanth's dance in Robot is more appealing than Katrina's perfomrnace on Sheila. You know why? Because there is a thing called emotion which Katrina lacks.

The choreography is vulgar, but Madhuri is making it look sexy? Are you actually listening to what you are saying? 😆
That doesn't make any sense AT ALL 😆 I can say the same for Katrina, her boobs were hanging out but it didn't look vulgar to me AT ALL. Her dance was something along the lines of what Beyonce and Shakira do, let me guess you find them vulgar too? I guess everyone who does vulgar dances is cheap and vulgar to you but when Madhuri does it...its graceful 😆
And please, we all know you're overreacting comparing Katrina to Rajni's robot dance, if that was the case Sheila and CC would never be as universally successful as it was. Don't try to make up things just to prove your already weak point.
Please I request Madhuri fan you've lost this argument. Accept that she's over and move on.

Sorry, but you are not only wrong but way out of line.
Jhalak popular because of Madhuri? The show was already established and high-profile EVEN BEFORE her coming on it, Please lets not get ahead of ourselves, the show has been on for ages 😆 Nobody watches it for her, people watch it for the dancers hahaha. Wow
And YJHD dragged 50% of the audience to theatre? ARE YOU SERIOUSLY SAYING THAT? ARE YOU LISTENING TO YOURSELF? Why did her "comeback" Aaja Nachle FLOP so badly then?
Forgive me Mods, But this topic is getting delusional 😆

I have to admit her songs are one of the major USPs in dabba films 😆 I think her songs are soon going to be shown in 3D purely for the double impact of the excessive heaving and popping 😆

3D movie full of Katrina heaving and popping dancing. Damn! ATBB. That one will beat all Khans combined!!!!

It's not like Maduri didn't pop her chest back than. What was Dhaka Dhaka and ..choli ke peeche nothing graceful in those songs. It's as vulgar as today's item songs.
