i find her doin nothin new ..infact she hardly acted before cocktail , only that role was tailor made with her in mind and she did full justice to it & from there started to consider her a promisin actor but for now , its too soon to call her 'versatile' with her monotonous dialogue delivery🤔

She have done so many different roles, From Shantipriya (OSO) to naina ( YJHD)

Pinky Palkar in Lafangey Parindey was awesome, she played a blind girl.

Araakshan was very different from Veronica the party girl in Cocktail.

Shonali Mukherjee in karthik Calling Karthik was very different from Sandy in Housefull.

And DO NOT FORGET kalpana dutta, from Khelen Hum Jee Jaan Sey, Yes the movie did flop at the box office but never would i blame DP for it... she had such a different role in that movie, played a freedom fighter , wearing simple sarees. So much different from the glamorous roles she have done so far ( Housefull, Race 2 , Cocktail )

So yes, Deepika have been in the industry for around 6-7 years now and i do think she is trying something new with every movie and improving her acting skills.

Looking at body of work from south I feel Ileana is really versatile from the current lot who can do justice to performance oriented role(Barfi) and glamour role (Pokiri south movie) 😊

Yes she is. Her most critically acclaimed role was of wildchild Veronica and now she's getting so much praise for portraying seedi sadi Naina.

No. Simply doing different genres does not make one versatile. You need to act for that. Deepika's a wooden plank and delivers her dialogue's in such a monotonous tone that it makes me fall asleep
