I always found her entire story about living in the USA very fishy...and then the whole story about being bullied is blatantly fake in my opinion. It's some sort of trend nowadays to say oh I was bullied when I was younger & whatnot. Generally speaking, celebrities LOVE telling stories about how they were picked on..or ate their lunch in the bathroom when they were kids in school etc..like, give me a break.

And yeah, why would two well-off parents randomly send a 13 year old girl off to the States? Just because some school accepted her because of her "high IQ", they'd uproot her entire life and send her off to a different continent? And then call her back before graduation making the entire point of her going to the US in the first place completely useless? None of it makes sense. I guess what I'm curious about is why she went to he US in the first place.

Her past does look shady. Plus she looks better post surgeries

But public education in the US is free all the way until 12th. You only have to pay for school starting from college/university...During school, you might have to pay for other school expenses like AP exams, registration fees, club fees, etc. Most public schools do not even make you buy your own coursebooks, unless it's an AP class (and even in those your school might provide the books)...so there's no scholarship needed at all in a public school setting. Now if she went to a private high school, then it's a different story.

As for STARSTRUCKKS comment on bullying

bullying is common in schools especially

to people of different origin. I see no reason

After all Salman khan has never studied

abroad but what an accent. Same with

Katrina's Berlin Wall-nomadic life story seems believable compared to Priyanka's Einstein IQ story.
