I'm not sure how true the accusation is or if it is true at all but it is something to ponder about.

You only have to pay for school starting from college/university...During school, you might have to pay for other school expenses like AP exams, registration fees, club fees, etc. Most public schools do not even make you buy your own coursebooks, unless it's an AP class (and even in those your school might provide the books)...so there's no scholarship needed at all in a public school setting. I find her studying in school in USA fishy too. Her dad was in the army and such people dont even get passports to go abroad. And his daughter went abroad and studied there as a child.
