I also used the words "deliberate attempt to ignore". Better read the thing than pick out two words and laugh out.

IMO "overrated" is when a film is excessively peddled mainly by media or fans of its lead but in reality it does not have that kind of success or appeal. Sholay and other nominees at least have appeal in reality! They are not just peddled by media.

Dear giggling girlie, I had said anyone who's bashing Sholay and even rating Dabangg above it has zero knowledge about the kind of phenomenon it was and what it still continues to mean to Indians and Bolly lovers at large. I did not mean "zero of knowledge of cinema".

Is it clear now?

Giggling girlie? Well I'm flattered much.

"Only a person with ZERO knowledge"

For people like me who reads things as they are, your remark was hilarious. So I laughed. Merii marzii. And I'm unsure of why I'm even bothering so yeah.

Darling I had clearly mentioned the zero knowledge and deliberate ignorance of the phenomenon that Sholay was.

I had neither used words like zero knowledge of cinema. Nor used "zero knowledge" alone - which could be open to any interpretation.

You claim you read things as they are? My dear judging by your response I feel you did not bother to read that post at all!

Giggling girlie was a tribute to the laughing emoticon in your response to me.

BTW if you want to discuss the topic then do or else I am not interested in pointless bickering. Thank you.

Nargis is hugely overrated.

Madhuri is the greatest of all time.

I loved Lagaan cause I liked the the 11 different personalities like the 1996 Yankees or the 1985 Chicago bears . Also loved the music . Only problem was the length . 4 hours tested my patience . But in those days it was the norm
