Shahid-Kareena: Their break up was one of the most publicized and controversial breakups in Bollywood. It was said that Kareena changed her lifestyle for Shahid; she became a vegetarian, spiritual and started staying indoors. They were tagged as the 'ideal couple' who were set to get married. Unfortunately, their relationship experienced great strain when Kareena left to shoot for Tashan and Shahid started shooting for Kismat Konnection. Kareena was romantically linked with Saif whereas Shahid got linked with Vidya.Allegedly, arguments, rumors and interference from Kareena's mother Babita broke their relationship. Shahid said "I blame it on me being a great boyfriend. I was in a four and a half year old relationship and was very committed". Soon, Kareena started dating Saif Ali Khan and there were speculations that Shahid was in a relationship with Priyanka Chopra.

Amitabh-Rekha: Starting from 'Do Anjaane', this pair was the secret formula for a successful romantic Bollywood movie in the 80's. Amitabh and Rekha's relationship was very mysterious. Rekha admitted that Amitabh was the only man she has ever loved whereas Amitabh never revealed anything about their relationship or break up. They never admitted that they were in a relationship.
