In the western countries...the body cannot be taken out of the morgue unless its in a casket...its not allowed by law...it has to be in a casket and has to be taken straight to funeral homes...where the rituals are performed according to the religion of the person...

What were u expecting Anku?? Jeevan's body on an arthi with people chaning raam naam satya hai...on the streets of London??

Here see for ur self...Where do u see a Christian cremation??

I got it from the movie. Your interpretation might be different from mine.
What do you mean what was I expecting? After the first 10 mins, I wasn't expecting anything from the crappy movie 😆 And even if they do that, what's the big deal? Are London streets too posh for that?

@Brihana: did you see the scene where the car in which Kareena and the kid were went straight through the bus and nothing happened? That had me in splits 🤣

Its not about the London Streets being too posh...Its about the laws of the country...Everyone has to follow the rules and protocols of where they live...In fact the cremation part was one of the few things that this movie got CORRECT...I am a Hindu...and I attended a Hindu funeral here in USA...and the body was in a casket...and after that the Punditji performed the rites according to the Hindu religion...I guess it was the casket part that threw a lot of people off...

If we have to bash a movie...lets bash it where it deserves bashing...not on the part that it did correct...

I still standby what I said. It's a movie, open to interpretations and the way I saw it is how I saw it.

Shesh, I am not bashing it. 🤓 Every single criticism or something said funnily need not be termed bashing.

You know in this case I understand what Anku means. I just found out that bodies in a casket is the law in Western countries. So far I didnt know it. I am sure the average Indian viewer doesnt know about this law either. To me it looked as if a Hindu man was being given a Christian funeral because they wanted some drama in the movie.

I understand Shreya...and that's why I tried to explain...but anku is still believing that it was a Christian cremation.. 😆
