Ajay is actually obsessed with SRK. 😉 Logically he should have supported CE because producers of CE came in later and pitted their film against OUATIMA which was announced earlier. He did the same with SOS.

Well...it makes sense. Ajay was in the first Once upon a time so it's only natural that he would support its sequel. But what and how is he going to support? His himmatwala sank at the box office. Shouldn't he be drying his tears with Sajid?😆

Shahrukh ko bhool jao...iss baar to Rohit shetty ke peeche pad gaya hai...but its OK...he is going to make himself the butt of jokes...as if post Himmatwala was not enough 😆 😆

Ajay has always had issues with SRK. I do not know if SRK is also someway responsible for this (maybe in 90s he said something rude in some interview? He was too frank and kind of cocky back then).

He's obviously hurt by SOS-JTHJ controversy. And probably whether he admits it or not, he has been upset about Rohit Shetty working with SRK. It must have been a question of loyalty of his friend for him when Shetty decided to work with SRK. Agreed Shetty has given Ajay all his 100 cr hits but it was Ajay who worked with Shetty when he was a nobody and no one else was willing to look at him. Ajay was at least a saleable star and established actor with 2 National Awards behind him when he worked with Shetty. They've been childhood friends. I feel Ajay feels betrayed by Shetty.

Ajay and VB had also accused K Jo and SRK for sabotaging Omkara in 2006. And like Sunny Deol, even Ajay had said in 90s that dancing at weddings and award shows is akin to doing mujra. No names taken but everyone knew who he was hinting at.

The truth is that many things done and said by SRK were not liked by industry. His starting trend of stars performing at private parties for a fee, PR, "engaging" the media all around the year, cocky interviews, those "I am the best" remarks, joking about others at award shows etc. were not liked. This led some traditional ones to call him manipulative, calculating and whatnot. Sunny Deol openly said SRK had removed the aura around movie stars and turned them into commodities.

But today all of them are doing same things like marketing, PR, hosting parties, performing on stage and even exposing their family life to media. What they did not realise was that whatever SRK was doing was merely demand of the changing times. A star's name was no longer enough to draw people to theatres. And award shows had become more like entertainment events. The trend is not positive or ethical but it's become a business so what can stars do?

At times I think concerns of some stars have been valid too because media did not acknowledge their success as much as they deserved. Gadar was a juggernaut at BO but media tried to ignore it. They hyped up K3G too much. Especially TV was such that they'd have ignored Lagaan also had it not got an Oscar nomination! HAHK is the biggest hit of 90s and first film to become blockbuster overseas yet media till date ignores it and everyone behaves as if 90s was all about DDLJ and SRK. SRK had bad years in 1994, 1999, 1996 but media behaved as if nothing had happened. Other stars felt their hits were being ignored and they were being slighted. I would not exactly blame SRK for all this but other stars should have also courted media instead of banning them! Aren't they all doing PR, marketing and other stuff now? Uss waqt bhi kar lete! Kisne roka tha?

All these so called attacks we see by other stars are IMO just a way of asserting themselves and getting back at SRK.

I must say SRK's fight with Salman Khan spoiled his image a lot. And so did some other brawls last year.

Media calling him King and treating others' hits as aberrations has not gone down well with anyone. And this blocking of screens for his own films, leaving no room for others is another latest thing done by him which upsets people.

SRK will do anything for success. And this is what many hate. They already had frustrations with him, their own regrets for rejecting plum roles that made SRK (Ajay had rejected Darr and Karan Arjun), their frustration at not getting the attention they thought they deserved, so they side "against" him or take "friendly digs" at him.

Ajay is clearly against SRK, this is why he makes sure he is present at those Being Human shows (he never believed in walking the ramp but did it for Being Human for first time in his life), has references to Salman's stardom and songs in his films, he and Salman do special appearances in each others' films.

The Salman issue has ensured stars like Ajay piggyback on him, joining his side to form some virtual front against the other party.

I personally think it's all childish. I can't believe the stars are into such things after THIS age! And if they have some issues with each other, then why not keep it personal? Why publicly show it? Dev Anand and Dilip Kumar never got along with each other but they never made a show of it. Rajesh Khanna detested Amitabh when he had arrived in industry. He even tried to prevent Jaya from seeing him and used to say "this man would end up nowhere". But they did work together later and behaved cordially. They had done joint photo shoots and interviews for magazines also.

It's only now that stars seem to use rivalries for publicity.🤢

I think all stars be it SRK or anyone else should accept whatever that has happened and acknowledge each other's space and niche. SRK can't stop current success of other stars. Other stars cannot go back and change history or take away anything from SRK's success. And there is no need to behave as if some star is a shrewd manipulator while some are saints. Each of them has skeletons hidden in their cupboards and forever threatening to tumble out! Grow up and show some grace! 😡

They have numbered years left for them to play lead roles. Better focus on work and health and make some plans for future than indulge in wars or mud slinging matches!

As a kid I used to think of them as a decent lot, especially Ajay who I felt was a no nonsense man who only focused on his work. Now I am fed up of all of them, pretty disenchanted after reading and knowing about them! 👎🏼
