Moving on to more important things, I never said it was right. It is politically incorrect, all I was saying is maybe like me and other posters, KRK wasn't aware Chamar was a caste.

KRK is always making these type of tweets, he shouldn't be given so much attention since it just encourages him more

I do not like looks of many Southie actors (Surya, Mahesh Babu and Ajith are the only ones I like to look at!). It's got nothing to do with South Indians (sorry for using this term!) but only due to a certain image we have in our minds of what a hero should look like. (There are many in Bollywood also whose looks I dislike. There's a recent one who I wonder how he got work but I will not name him lest his fans fill my inbox with hate PMs!)

And I admit I had laughed when I'd seen a Dhanush song on TV (it was some years back, I had no idea who he was, just saw a glimpse while changing channels on TV) and I had wondered how people with such looks got movies. But I do sincerely acknowledge he has great expressions (and I am NOT saying this to sound politically correct!).

I was thinking he'll not fit in at all in Raanjhnaa and I'd seen its trailer only to point out flaws in Dhanush's looks or his Hindi. But I have liked whatever I have seen in the trailer. It seems he has managed to speak Hindi somewhat right without the usual typical accent that many actors from South have had (I said somewhat right because we have not seen more of dialogues). And!!! His expression was breathtaking as Sonam smears colour on his forehead in the Holi scene! I didn't think about looks at all watching that! He looked younger and more convincing than Sonam in the school uniform (not exaggerating).

I confess it's only him who makes me watch Raanjhnaa videos again and again - and not even ARR's music (which I felt is nothing great compared to his lofty standards). I hope he is great in the film.

Opinions are subjective and personal but casteist or regional slurs are absolutely unacceptable!😒 I feel one should not use words like chamaar or chuda for anyone. And on public platform - absolutely not!

Sadly, such words are still quite prevalent in our society. 🤔 And are used like gaalis. It needs to stop...but it's too deep rooted in people's mindset! 😔
