Did Sajid Khan ask Akshay Kumar not to be part of Housefull 3?

Just days after producer Sajid Nadiadwala announced that Sajid Khan will not be directing the third part of 'Housefull' due to creative differences between the two and Khan's recent spat with lead actor Akshay Kumar, Khan is leaving no stone unturned to create trouble for the producer.

According to reports, Sajid Khan called Akshay Kumar and asked him not to be a part of Housefull 3. The reason Khan gave was that they were as team and they had delivered the two hits together as a team. Hence, it would be morally wrong for Akshay to star in the third installment with a new director.

However, Khan had a spat with the actor recently when he made derogatory comments about the actor's career graph. During a recent TV show, when host asked Khan why he doesn't work with newcomers, he replied: "Housefull 1 and Housefull 2, sort of, got Akshay out of a bad patch of six to seven flop films. He had a run of six to seven flop films, after which Housefull became the first big grosser in 2010. Then again, he had a patch of six to seven films. Then again, it was Housefull 2."

This made Akshay really angry who called up the director to gave him a him a piece of his mind. The spat added fuel to the fire in the ongoing spat between Sajid Nadiadwala and Sajid Khan, with Nadiadwala asking Khan not to be a part of Housefull 3.
