No reccos for Priyanka Chopra!

Priyanka Chopra is mighty amused (as are we) with reports suggesting that younger cousin Parineeti Chopra, (who is all of two films old in the industry) recommended PC's name for the lead actress role in Gunday. Naturally the Piggy Chops is not pleased with the rumours.

Apparently there were two contenders for the role – YRF favorites Parineeti and Anushka Sharma but Parineeti rooted for her cousin and 'got' her the role. That is a little hard to believe because PC, is in the top bracket herself and doesn't need a recco! Says a source, "They need a top actress for Gunday to lend weight to the project as both lead actors Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor are relatively.Rafique Gangjee from Yash Raj Films adds, "No one needs to 'recommend' a Priyanka Chopra! And no, neither Anushka nor Parineeti were approached for the role. Both these queries are untrue."
