Meh, it was a mediocre and forgettable film, saved only by two good lead performances (Rani and Kareena) somewhat...the storyline was weak; it did not have a strong base to justify the occurrences. And I don't mean just the supernatural aspect of it only. Good music, cinematography and editing, but the weak writing pulls down the movie. And yeah, Aamir just sorta sleepwalked through the role.

I love Aamir for making Talaash, he has actually never disappointed me and this was no exception. Everyone I know has praised the movie just as much as me.. especially the climax! The way she ended up being a ghost was really shocking and made it one of the best thriller movies in Bollywood for me :)

To be honest, i don think it really depends on your belief on the supernatural..I knew the twist in advance, thanks to all the reviews, so there was no question of getting disappointed😆 I don think Talaash should be looked at as a thriller per se..I don know about others but i personally loved the movie..There was so much emotional depth to it and i saw it as the journey of the protagonist coming to terms with a cruel twist of fate..There were some really brilliant sequences in the film..The one where Aamir stares at Kareena and tells her she doesn't belong here, the one where she caresses him to sleep and then of course the climax where she saves him underwater and that moment they share-they were magical..To top it , all three gave such brilliant performances..So i personally wouldn't change anything in the movie cos i loved it😳

I was disappointed by the climax of Talaash because I had figured out halfway though the movie that Kareena was a ghost/ part of his imagination.
