I don't think she put down other actors or other movies at all. She did say LAK and Rockstar were great, just found JWM was better. It's like how people say Devdas was good, but HDDCS was better. Same as how people say K3G was good, but KKHH was better. Same as how people say DTPH was good, but Darr was better. Likewise, JWM, LAK and Rockstar are all Imtiaz Ali's films and are bound to get compared and if someone thinks of them was better than the others, I don't think they are putting down others to feel superior. It's just comparing and having an opinion.. no harm in that.

I do understand that if Ranbir or Saif or Deepika came out and declared the same.. that JWM was better than LAK and Rockstar.. they might not get lashed as much because they didn't star in JWM unlike Kareena. Sucks for her then. But tbh I don't see a harm in thinking a movie you were in was really good.

Kareena's said many arrogrant and W*F statements before; this is like nothing tbh.

I too think that out of LAK, Rockstar and JWM, JWM has the ability to stand the test of time. And it isn't because of Kareena alone, whole thing fell into place really well for JWM. Acting, screen play, direction, character actors, songs, lines etc fit in really well. Exactly. Whole films do not stand the test of time because of one person. Usually, everything or at least 90% of the aspects of the movie all fall into place, for the majority of the audience. In JWM, the characters and their journey together was endearing. Generally, a good test for how much a film was liked or how famous it became is how many times a scene, dialogue,character, etc was aped from the film in other mediums like TV, other films, books, etc. I've seen the Hotel Descent scene from the film aped a few times in popular shows. So I'm fairly sure JWM will stand the test of time. They may think it's overrated in 20 years, but overrated never means the film sucked.

SNT I guess will always remain Imtiaz's most underrrated and tragically under-watched work.
