You dunt think its a classic...some do...end of story...
but it isnt outrageous to call JWM a classic...its a pretty legit tag given the fact tht it attained a cult status as far as romcoms are concerned.

well all right then. I admit you might have a point there. Im sorry for
annoying anyone by my opinion. On thinking back, i do remember
being hugely entertained by JWM and thinking the role was tailor
made for KKK, and i do admit she went over and beyond what she
normally gives in a movie.
Her bullying Shahid scenes during their meeting were hilarious!
One movie i cant even think of any other actress doing no matter
how good they may be.
Maybe yes as a romcom it has its standing at the top of the table
with other classics as Ram aur Shyam or Seeta aur Geeta
Chashme Badhhoor.
I just totally dislike anyone putting down another to raise oneself
up and KKK is super good at this particularly.
Its like her going around saying Madhur Bhandarkars BEST movie
is going to be Heroine. !
In this case, since its not a live interview and just quoted in print
I'll give her the benefit of doubt and say maybe she didnt mention
the other two films and the journo added that on her own to put
some spice.
Having said this Rockstar is kind of the one which got all the accolades
inspite of bombing at the box office. AR Rahmans music, Ranbirs revelation
as an actor par excellence, the different story line and risk the director
took in telling his tale.
So no way one can negate Rockstar. Its the coming of age of Ranbir the
boy actor to the field of real men who can act.
