i sooo agree with you! i have no words to express my confusion over why everyone loves her so much. i dont think she's so gorgeous, i dont think she can act, and i think she only dances well like in item songs. she should be limited to item songs. there isnt even one memorable performance of hers. i posted this before somewhere too, but when someone thinks of the name "Geet" they think JWB Kareena, or when we hear the name "Simran" we think Kajol DDLJ. There isnt even one performance of Katrinas where we think "Oh wow Katrina!" ... when you hear the names "Meera, Zoya, Dimple, Jenny, Indu..." etc etc we never will immediately think of Katrina. All these movies were her "hit" movies, but her roles were not as legendary as people make them out to be!!!

mera thoda sa ajeeb reminding hai.. when i say simran dr. sirman from a show comes in my mind so with geet.. zoya.. then parineeti or the new girl from qubool hai lol
