People are comparing Srk's star power to emraan's? Real nice! It was a good enough role for Emraan! That was no charity!

okeey stardom...u came to the point...

this is what shabana said...

and me, return to hades are saying...

getaway with the stardom ego and do second fiddle to heroine...

and y always about sacrificing..a person in the industry about 30 yrs...with superstardom...doing 2 or 3 women centric movie will be sacrificing his career...😕

Sridevi has done many female orientated roles and have made them huge hits without a support of a male star! That is true empowerment! Many actresses such as madz, sridevi etc. have made a career for themselves without playing second fiddle roles! That is true empowerment!

I don't really think Shabana meant to go out of her way to pick on just SRk and his actions

hence bringing up his role in Shakti doesn't make much sense

Her message could also be directed to producers and directors who don't have balls to GIVE a woman a role bigger than that of the man.

Like why couldn't, FOR EXAMPLE, Jab Tak Hain Jaan have a female in SRK's role?
Really, ANY big movie for that matter.

Though some women are succeeding in making some changes, it'd be pretty damn ridiculous and silly of us to be all "oooh women should stand up for themselves" and expect the industry to fall at their feet the minute they express they want to do so.

Dya reckon no woman has ever wanted to do a massive, massy entertainer and have the big role?
It's really not that simple haha

Asking men to do second fiddle roles is not empowerment!

2) Well why don't the women writers write stronger roles for women? Why they themselves write better roles for men than women? I know it's easier said than done but first women will have to help themselves. It will take long and won't change things right away but there has to be a start somewhere.

1) I thought it was Balki's ad too, no? Wasn't it his mind that was behind it? Besides, you don't care, I don't care but there HAVE been controversies and arguments in BW because of credit titles.

2) A lot of things are a joke- SRK's ad and his credit title thing is a joke, Aamir being declared India's biggest feminist is a joke too and to counter it is okay but if it is coming from someone like Shabana then it's hard to take her seriously, that woman got a slum cake made- if she can't respect somethings and some people herself then how can anyone expect us to respect her opinions?
