If he said it was just a token gesture to feel good about himself, then its fine. It is like letting Rosa Parks board the bus first, but still sending her to the back seat.

This is major reason producers are not investing in women centric films nd investing in trash Khiladi 786 or Himmatwala! Why -- Because it makes them earn profit!
So yes I support my point nd by the way I m not saying ALWAYS A Khan should star in women centric films, I saying support it, publicise such films, encourage people people to watch nd if possible a supporting role will be good ( like Arjun in Heroine ones)

I didn't said the script should b crappy - DID I?? (Except Heroine I don't think any prominent women centric films have been crappy btw)

But a woman centric film with a powerful male like the Khans won't remain woman centric if they act in it and it becomes a BB- it'll become another Khan film. People won't go to watch it because of it's content, they'll watch it because a Khan is in it and I don't think that will bring about any change except that it'll become a BB and honestly, a BB or not doesn't matter to me.

And SRK HAS done supporting roles in women centric films. Honestly, to bring power to women, it's not necessary for the film to be women centric, a film which has something for the the actress to do besides her being a flowerpot is good in itself, and A LOT of SRK films have something for the actresses to do, they're not just flowerpots in 90% of his films.

as much as dislike the bhatts now i think they are the only one who use to make lot of movies where women had the better or as much powerful as the men roles like arth,kasoor,sangharsh,HHRPK,raaz 1,murder 1 ,jism 1,gangster 😆

Umm, did you miss my mentions of Kahaani, The Dirty Picture, Herione and older flicks like Mother India, Aandhi, Guddi, Khoobsoorat. This is called selective reading. You are so fixated on Chennai Express, that you are completely missing the big picture and the point.
