I think you may have misunderstood my post. In no way do I even intend to sympathize with him...I just feel that the punishment had been long overdue and who knows even if it means anything to him. For the accused to actually feel guilty and serve for their crime, the punishment has to be effectively placed within a short period of the crime rather than after two decades when the accused may not even correctly remember the details of the incident and the wrong they have done.Dutt's case is a bit different...he was accused of possessing arms rather than being directly involved. So, the whole aspect of reforming over this time period should be looked at differently than the other criminals you've mentioned. However, that does not take away the fact that he deserves the punishment and probably an even longer sentence than the one given to his driver!I just feel bad for the new family he has and his kids who aren't even old enough to understand this...but, as I said in another topic about this...he should reap what he sowed.
