There's barely 5 A list heroines

Katrina, PC, DP, Vidya, Kareena.

Kareena is over-exposed and finished.
Vidya does hatke films.
PC is just not liked very much.
Deepika is the next big thing but she can't do all the film's out there.

Kat is to rule for atleast the next couple of years with no challenger in site.

Bebo will team up with the actor for Shuddhi

Last week we told you that the Agneepath team — Hrithik Roshan and director Karan Malhotra — is coming together for a film, titled Shuddhi. Now we can confirm that Kareena Kapoor has been signed to play the leading lady for this film. This is big news for two reasons. First, this pair will be reunited on screen together after nine years. And secondly they've finally called truce. The duo who were dating during the making of their last film had a fallout and never came together again, despite many filmmakers trying to cast them together. Hrithik was not willing to upset his wife by romancing with Bebo onscreen and it was all too fresh in the Kapoor girl's mind to get together with the actor onscreen. But time heals all wounds and now they have both decided to put their past behind them. It is natural that they come together for common friend Karan Johar, who was able to convince them to do this film together.

Apparently, Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone were in the race for the role but Kareena beat them to it as she was the director's first choice. Malhotra felt that only Kareena could play such a challenging role. Now let's just wait for the production house to make a big announcement.

done what K kapoor could never do due to her

insecure attitude towards movies..she has

carved a niche of her own which no other

heroine has done except shabana azmi.

even tabu acted in crap movies mixed with her

good acting ones. vidya bio is somethng else.

anyway look at the circle...k kapoor dropped

hrithik like a hot brick in the middle of shooting

for kaho na pyar hai to act with abhishek and

he was left high and dry and now

she is dying to work with him to salvage

her career! life and karma!

I wouldnt include Deepika in the same category as Kat-Pc or Vidya or even Kareena.

I think the a-grade is only Vidya, Kareena, Kat and Priyanka.

Deepika is still considered "up and coming"...like Anushka, Parineeti, Sonakshi, etc.

2ndly why are people so surprised that Katrina only does 2 movies? SHE HAS SINCE 2010 always had 2 releases every year. She do not believe in overdosis like kareena and priyanka who has 3-4 releases every year.

Katrina wants to focus on her projects and give them her whole attention. Also she has a family in London so she can not just unlike other celebrities go and meet them everyday, she has to plan it in advance and has to take holidays for it too. So that also explains why she is doing few movies.

She is the top actress today and getting lots of projects but just because she has no 5 releases doesn't mean she is not getting many projects.

It's NOT about quantity it's about QUALITY.

and this is NOT a PR article, katrina and kareena have same PR, their PR agency is Matrix.

theres one reason for kat not signing every movie she gets offered

she is the most secure heroine in bollywood.

and she is not greedy and materialistic. she may have seven siblings to

settle but she knows they dont all need to be living in mansions.

even her dress up off screen is so simple. she doesnt deck up

in jewellery nor chanel tho she can well afford to. she mostly wears

barely there sandals.

only wannabes and pesudo rich want to show off their earnings

by flaunting designer stuff at every opportunity. and work their

butts off trying to accumulate wealth.

Well one thing is for sure, Katrina is a smart cookie. She's not stupid. If you look at her movies and her success ratio, some say she can be compared to Madhuri even Rajesh Khanna (in terms of hit movies)

The woman is a hit-machine.

If she's signing only 2 movies, thats not necessarily a bad thing. She just came off of doing huge movies with SRK-Salman and now Aamir.

Even Im surprised that she only has 2 movies on hand, but..I know she's smart, and this is def all a part of a plan. Dhoom-3 is going to make her an even bigger star, im sure of it.

In fact, it was Dhoom-2 that reinvented Aishwarya and gave her another boost.

and is usually rejecting offers? even tho she has worked with

srk and saif and ranbir the top notch heroes?

dont understand that logic; nowadays distributors

request a deepika or katrina to be in a movie before

doling out funds

That was a different scenario. Dhoom 2 made Aish popular because she hadn't done that kind of film, role before...you know the sexy glam doll in skimpy clothes. Plus, the MAIN factor why it gave Aish a BIG boost was her on-screen chemistry with Hrithik; it was hugely appreciated and they signed JA soon after. Katrina's already done all that a Dhoom girl does in many other films. The novelty factor is thus missing. On top of that, Aamir-Katrina is a very...odd pair since Kat is like a foot taller, unlike the Hrithik-Aish pair who suited each other physically. Katrina seems to be doing the same thing again in the film with Hrithik too.

The thing is, like for Kareena, those "Khan" films didn't help Katrina. They didn't damage anything for her, but they didn't give her the boost she would have wanted/ SHOULD have gotten either. ETT became all about Salman with all the 200 crore hype, and JTHJ trended badly. The only thing Kat got from JTHJ was boasting rights that she was a Yash Chopra heroine. Otherwise, it didn't get her critical acclaim, chemistry with SRK was not appreciated, & even BO wise, nothing great. Yeah it's counted more as SRK's loss than hers, but Kat didn't really benefit.

Actually deepika was gone before cocktail that was her come ack now she had race 2

She is no. 5 but she could get in top 3 this year maybe
