Sidharth does not have the power that he can fill someone's ears and get someone an item song...!

Agreed that Esha isnt a great dancer...but these days the persona required for an item song is not only dance but being seductive and looking hot which Esha can do...I'm not very fond of her but no one can deny that she has those 'angelina joile' looks and an item number will actually suit her...
She might have impressed the makers...

and before her even Chitrangada was said to be a bad dancer and many believed that she would never ever even get an offer for an item song..but she got one even if she chose the wrong song in the wrong film..she still did an item number..so...
