Even his role models are...Jack Nicholson, DiCaprio, Christian Bale and Gosling...pura hollywood material 😆

And I agree with his list...he does respect Big B, Salman, SRK, etc...but he doesn't "idolize" them and this speaks volume. A lot of people shift camps when certain actors are doing better, but he doesn't..he sticks to himself and that's really the only camp you need if you're talented and smart.

Hetal...agreed with you hun I have never seen the kinda if work that DDL, Anne, Jennifer & Christoph have done this year in bollywood

Sorry to say but after watching these amazing performances...I wonder what stops bollywood actors from doing this kind of marvellous work...now we have the money, equipment everything...all we need is a little effort from all actors to showcase their talent MORE efficiently

I don't know if you guys heard but DDL actually stays in his character until he finishes the movie...everyone on sets calls him by the name of his character (in that particular movie)

He basically lives his character...he even said how he was preparing for the role of a carpenter in his movie and his son (young at that time) actually started believing he isn't an actor but a carpenter
That's called giving yourself up completely towards your craft...amazing 👏

JLaw was amazing in SIlver Linings along with Bradley...I think if we consider Ranbir and PC the best of the year than JL and BC def outshined them in their rom-com/drama. I honestly blame the porduction houses for not hiring new, young talented writers...I mean the guy who wrote Chak De India was chilling around with that script at Starbucks in NY and didn't have the guts to send it in and then when he did t took Adi awhile to approve it--and it was one the finest and most original things I've seen..I mean a little bit of A League of Thier own, but WAY WAY WAY more original than the other crap.

But we can always rely on Emmy to pull out some original characters and work with some unconventional themes...along with Aamir.

He's so METHOD!! And I love it, but it's scary too. He's amazing--we both know how much we can rant on and on about his awesomeness, but let's find a FC for that before people start to get annoyed.😆😆

Honestly, I think it's a bit unclassy for Indian actors to shoot down the Oscars or make them seem mediocre when they boast about how many filmfares they have...i know the Oscars aren't perfect and they make mistakes too, but still come down! If you don't like it than don't watch, but don't be snobby and a sore loser. Tone down the ego!

Haha!

Did that really happen?

I have no idea, why Indian's are so proud of Slumdog Millionaire, first it's a British film. Second, they showed India in the worst light possible. The same is happening with Life of Pi, a Hollywood film based on a book by a Canadian. Such Insecurity!

Thats not true at all. Not even one Indian has liked the movie, Indians were the only ones who thought there was nothing special about SM 😊

I don't wanna start this debate again, but yeah some foreign people were ignorant about India, but a lot of others really appreciated the film. I think a lot of Indian people just thought it was showing India in the worst light, but people make films about the Holocaust every year--it doesn't mean every German is a Nazi. Still, it's sad when a suc a good film gets reduced to a meaningless debate like that one.
