In his own words , Salman doesn't experiment with acting and likes to do same thing over and over again. Once he realized CDI needed him to act ,he ducked and gave the movie to SRK.

He refused it for the silliest reason ever.

BUT, I'm glad he did..and I'm glad Shimit and Adi didn't agree to Salman's suggestion. SRK was perfect for Kabir Khan and I don't think Salman could have done it AT ALL.
