That Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra are now good buddies is no news! So, recently at an award show when Salman Khan asked the gorgeous actress to sing, Priyanka gladly obliged and enthralled the audiences with her on-stage performance.

This is the first time that the actress has sung on stage! Since she is contract-bound and can't give live performances, it came as a surprise for many that Priyanka Chopra actually took to stage and crooned two songs. Anything for Salman Khan, isn't it, Priyanka! Both the stars have worked together in films like Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and Salaam-e-Ishq.

"At the recently concluded award ceremony, Salman requested Priyanka to sing a song. In spite of being under a contract with her music company in the West (she cannot do live performances), she sang two songs on the stage," tells a source to a tabloid.

Priyanka Chopra reportedly sang Itni Si Khushi from Barfi! and also belted out her single In My City at the award show.

Priyanka made her singing debut through international music single In My City last year. Soon the new songstress will come up with more songs. By becoming a singer, she has fulfilled her father's long cherished dream.
