Barfi had what 85 percent of films that release in an year dont have - Beauty, Sincerity, Peacness nd STORY

It had Acting

Beautiful Locations

Wondeful Music

Mindblowing Scenes

Prefect Climax

A film with great lesson nd moral

Everyone lashed it befor release that it qouldnt even gross 25 crore but what happened 112 cr!

it was a good one time watch film but def overrated.. it's not as good as some ppl make out to be. For me a film is special if it moves me and if I want to watch it again.. that did not happen with Barfi. Neither did I feel for Ranbir's character nor for PC's character. This has nothing to do with the actors per say maybe the direction.. who knows maybe the actors were not good enough and that's why I didn't connect with them. I think it has more to do with the direction.. I found the direction very pretentious. While PC I usually do find her very artificial.. she was natural in this film. Kudos to her for that. I think the only character I felt bad for was IIena.(because she was the one who didn't end up with Ranbir).

Ilena.. her perf is so underrated because she had a simple role. But ppl ignore her perf because her role wasn't "challenging". But sometimes playing a simple character is challenging as well because you have to make you simple character enjoyable for the audience.

Loved the start to the movie with the song, Characters,story, execution was really simple yet so engaging. I loved the movie and there was no dull moment in that movie. Even the news of it being copied didn't dampen my admiration for its actors or for the story.😊

I forgot to mention even though I found the film pretentious the screenplay was so beautiful. The songs were nice too.

It was a beautiful film - the acting, the story, the screenplay, the direction, the music, the cinematography. It was a very nice film and I loved it.

However, I found it over-hyped tbh.
