Beautiful film with sincere effort on everyones part. A lot of scenes seemed like 'nods' to other directors/actors from film history - except for that one scene which was entirely taken from The Notebook.

Scenes like that make me question what the team was thinking? It's not like Hollywood films (especially something as huge as The Notebook) are not viewed by the Indian Public. Ripping off even small scenes are easily identified.

Aside from that though Barfi! was easily one of the best Indian films I saw last year. It had a lot of heart and some very impressive acting (Ranbir and Priyanka). Music was perfect, cinematography also on top.
