Priyanka Chopra was in talks with Anurag Kashyap for a short film that is being made to commemorate the 100 years of Indian cinema.
Apparently, the script that was narrated to the actress needed her to play a huge fan of Bollywood's numero uno Salman Khan. Sources say that initially PC was kicked about the idea, but later developed cold feet and backed out because of allegiance to another Khan.
The actress knew that her playing a Salman fan wouldn't go down well with her close circle of friends.
Anurag, on his part, very sensibly shelved the PC short film and moved on to make it with Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan in the lead.
And now, the storyline includes a fan who has come from Allahabad to Mumbai looking for his idol, the Big B.
