I remember when him and Hrithik Roshan first started out, on Koffee with Karan, all of the guests were asked who do you think will go far- Abhishek or Hrithik and the majority would say Abhishek.
I think, being the son of such a huge star, put so much pressure on him that even when he does a good job and acts well, it isnt considered good enough because he has such a big name to live up to. On top of that, he married a beauty queen he is more well known than him internationally and he ends up living in their shadows.
I still think he is a good actor- I love him in comedies, and he has proved he can act (atleast to me).
