Agree! I love Vidya but I was rooting for PC..her performance in Barfi was pretty darn amazing. I wouldn't say I'm disappointed but I am a little upset for Priyanka because she really deserved it. If not the main award then some sort of an acknowledgement would have been nice.

ALSO, Richa Chadda was a supporting actress in the vast canvas that was GoW. I would say that only Manoj Bajpai and Nawazuddin were the 'main leads'. None of the female characters were main leads. She was brilliant (I've seen both parts) and totally deserved the best supporting actress. The critics award for best actress should have been Sri or Priyanka.

SO TRUE, VIDYA was lovely, I think she was fab nd amazing in Kahaani but I was rooting for PC..her performance in Barfi was pretty darn amazing. I wouldn't say I'm disappointed but I am a little upset for Priyanka because she really deserved it. The role was tough nd moreover 4 freaking years! Vidya bhi thak gayi hogi...

ALSO, Richa Chadda was a supporting actress , hell she was also nominated for one but she won critics choice! Nd it doesn't make sense with people saying PCs role was that of second fiddle because if that's reason that she didn't win then she could have won the critics one! What I mean to say is that Riccha was good nd great nd deserved the awrad but PRIYANKA deserved it much... She bloody deserved it😭

Vidya just shouldn't be winning the awards this year at all. Jhilmil was a much more difficult role than Vidya Bagchi.

There are always some amazing actors from the regional movies too...so it will be really difficult..but hopefully one of them will...

Just out of curiosity...Do the regional film industries have their own award shows like the ones we have for BW??

PC got zee. I think Sridevi ansd the GOW ladies got royal ignore at other award shows, and even kareena in talaash. I find its quite ljustified richa chaddha won the FF. However vidya sweeping all awards is a bit unfair, sridevi could have easily won atleast in one award show.

this yr was yr of ladies, top performances matching each other. So it is not unfair at all.

I think Sri has been ignored more...😒...coz in sm PC got d popular best actor female and in d other she won d best jodi award...bt wat about Sri...she has not got a single award...dat too for such a magnificient performance...all des three ladies PC, Sri, Vidya wre fab...u cant give d award to all d three...so dis was bound to happen...😊

Too bad that these various awards do not have a round table conference before selecting the winners...otherwise they could have chosen PC, Vidya , Sri , Kareena as a winner in each of the awards...hum isko award dete hain...tum usko award de do...sab khush...Its all about pleasing everyone...to hell with who deserved it more😆

Yes they do there is also a Tamil and Telugu filmfare version.

agreed... ignoring such a lifetime performance in the most prestigious and old Filmfare award is out of any sort of understanding
