😉😆 So, it is that time again. This is the third installment of SUNDAY DHAMAKA III. These seem to be going well thanks to all the IF'ians. In the third one, someone asked me if I can retain my title of "Erotic Guru." Well, I am here to prove you wrong. 😛 I am questioning my favorite in this topic today and for good reason. AISHWARYA RAI BACHCHAN has been followed by the media for over 20 years. Ever since MISS WORLD, she was chased by BOLLYWOOD for movies and what not. The first directors that offered her movies were Yash Chopra (DTPH) and Dharmesh Dharshan (Raja Hindustani). AISH was selective, she didn't want to make a debut in a standard launchpad. In numerous interviews, she has proclaimed her debut as unconventional. Who would choose a Mani Ratnam TAMIL film as their first one? That it what made it intriguing to say the least! IRUVAR is a cult classic. It is still regarded as one of the finest films in Indian cinema. After that launch, Aish failed with AUR PYAR HO GAYA. But, she went on to appear in some of the decade's most regarded movies, such as HDDCS and DEVDAS. Then, slowly but surely she faded and was written off for her ventures internationally and fallout with the KHANDAAN. Then, she appeared in some notable films after marriage such as JODHAA AKBAR. Then, in 2010 she appeared in her last four notable films. And most of them didn't gain the commercial success that one would hope for. 😕
EVER since GUZAARISH released in NOVEMBER 2010, I as a fan have missed her on the silver screen. She wasn't that bad like people make her out to be. When I see the Anuskhas, Kats, or even Deepikas trying to do films, it fills a void. AISH is a ICON, how can one forget her contributions? 😉 She appears on a interview with ANUPAMA VERMA and a lot of hype is generated for a comeback film. But, AISH casually mentions everyone will know at the right time. She had a baby and is on maternity leave. So, AISH can't come in a DHOOM 2 right now or even run around trees. GIVEN the banner, director, actor, AISH will shine. But, the truth is, AISH needs a BIG BANNER to ensure a successful comeback. KJO is the right guy to do that, but nothing has been confirmed. But, does the audience want AISH back? People love other actresses and their comebacks. But, noone should say "AISH STAY HOME" or "WE DON'T WANT YOU." 😭 It is entirely her choice. I can safely say that there is a LOYAL AISH FAN FOLLOWING that wants AISH BACK. The audience does want to see her. 2 to 3 years out of Bollywood is quite a while for an actress to stay away. Please share your thoughts. Does the AUDIENCE want AISH BACK?! 👏
