I think we will see a major churn in Bollywood in 4-5 years. All the top actors (All the Khans and Devgan) and the actresses (Kareena, Katrina, PC) will be on their last legs or out of the industry. Salman has serious health issues and masala movies will stop working, SRK will not be able to pull off the romantic hero part and Aamir will probably shift to direction.

Which star(s) will last longer as top draws?-Ajay Devgan..he has Satyagrah..he's d most talented ctor of all...and i respect him a lott as an actor...so his acting will keep him on top...(dnt mean top literally...bt he'll survive)..and may be Amir...bcoz of his perfect strategy management...😊

Aamir Khan's strategy is actually clever. It's not about top. He chose D3 & PK which have potential to be top grossers anyway (franchise, another a Raju Hirani film). After that he'll take to filmmaking so stay out of race or have some sections of audience and media claiming he's on top just as he's still said to be on top post 3 Idiots (though in reality a top grosser does not imply person will be said to be on top even if he's not working or his new release underperforms).

He takes safe films (assured grossers) and later leaves competition or says he's into alternative cinema/breaks/other aspects of filmmaking. He never stays consistently in the fray and escapes scrutiny which others go through. He'll go away with most respect and won't really be kicked out the way leading stars are kicked out when they make a mockery of themselves acting as heroes.

Ajay Devgan has brilliant future as an actor - provided he does stick to it. I'm glad he's doing Satyagraha and didn't purely go the masala route yet.

Bt u cant xpect him to do only Satyagrah and Rajneeti type roles.😭..i luv how he attempts diif genre and he succeeds in it too...be it a Golmaal series...or a Singham...a OUATIM...or a Gangajal...not to forget his best work..i.e The legend of Bhagat Singh...ONE OF D FINEST ACTORS...AND I LUV DIS MAN...😳😳

Kind of agree. Most of you are saying 5-6 years. I feel it may happen in 3-4 years.

The stars of this age have it easier that they have huge media machinery behind them. They and their movies get hyped or hailed as megahits or masterpieces even if audience response is actually less than enthusiastic.

Weekend and multiplex phenomenon helps them. Yesteryear stars had it way more difficult. If film rejected, then actually rejected. They didn't have media to make people believe they still ruled.

I wanted to say provided he also keeps doing the acting parts side by side and does not totally switch to SOS type films.
