I am also sick of watching Muslim characters mainly as dons, terrorists or riot/Partition-affected victims. Why can't we have normal, happy Muslim characters anymore? It's been ages since a Muslim was shown in a normal set up. I think Farhan in 3I was the last normal Muslim, no?

true and nowadays the songs dont evn fit in. they are just their coz they are meant to be so that ppl can dance to for no reason 😆 !! earlier, the songs were an important part of the storyline that had its own meaning ..

I know re...dat is why dey say des days everything is so OTT..dey know music has a major role in deciding a movie's fate...so kuch bhi...😡

OMG San I agree! Heena was fantastic! Simone Singh was outstanding in that drama! Really felt her character

I remember another drama called Shaheen which had Juhi Parmar that was another good drama too :)

Bollywood needs to experiment alot more. Once a particular genre does well, everybody goes running towards it. I mean we can be more experimental, cant we? Everybody is craving for Masala movies. See Barfii, English Vinglish, Kahaani and to an extent I appreciate JTHJ for that as well. But next year every single actor is doing a masala movie.

And yes categorizing Muslims as terrorists. It's SO wrong. A Muslim person is happy and normal as anybody else. Certain fanatics exist in every religion. And please note, this is coming from a Hindu. Even though MNIK was OTT at times, I love the message it gave out. Kurbaan -_-
