Talaash - she was the best part in the movie.

I have not seen Heroine, though its been on Netflix for a while, but I don't like sad-dramatic movies.

Rosy in Talaash... was amazing,👏👏 so sensual and mysterious..loved it. First time, an actress has been able to overshadow Mr.Amir khan, now that's something.

and i will say though Talaash had many flaws in terms of direction and storyline (they practically gave out the suspense), Kareena was not one of them. She was the best part of the movie.

Heroine, was okayish. I didnt like the movie nor her acting . story was all over the place, and it dragged by the end of it.

I have not seen Heroine... but she was brilliant in Talaash. This has to be her best performance till date.

On a side note, from Talaash the guy who played Tehmour and the old hooker were also some characters who stood out for me. The casting was perfect for this movie.

I second you completely. However I found her role in EMAET more likable than in Talaash. Her role in Talaash did not quiet live to the hype around it!

Heroine was a hodgepodge of ideas that weren't sewn together well and that's why it ended up looking incomplete with no sense of catharsis. Talaash, however, was an amazing movie and that's why her performance there trumps heroine's even though her "acting" might have been of the same caliber in both.

Easy_A, not just the same, but actually it was BETTER in Heroine barring some scenes.

I still am surprised that people found her acting better in Talaash. She was amazing, no doubt, but she was backed by an interesting character and coherent script.
So everything was amplified.

She was great in Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu as well, almost on par with Talaash, but as far as performance goes, Heroine trumps both IMO.

I have to say one thing.

Most people will agree that her performance in Heroine deserves a nomination in awards. And according to this poll, she was even BETTER in Talaash. She got loads of accolades in EMAET as well.

She's given not one, but multiple performances worth nominations in awards in a single year. That's saying something.

Yeah, you're right, her character was much more interesting in Talaash... and boy, did the revelation at the end floor me or what. I don't even remember half the shit that went down in Heroine.. it was that much of a clusterf**k. I was probably too busy hopping from one mess to another and trying to wrap my head around what's happening and then trying even harder to make sense of it all to notice her acting there. can you blame me? 😆 it's hard for me to applaud actors for their "acting" alone when the movie as a whole doesn't sit well with me.
