I am super pissed at aamir for making Ghajini. The film not just started the 100 crore fever but south remakes & masala films. I am damn pissed at him for this 😡

SALIM-JAVED - Reducing heroines to wall flowers in films - Their scripts were mostly male-centric, all about heroes/villains. Only important woman is Maa. Rest of actresses were just for timepass and two songs. No wonder it was about Amitabh, Shashi, Vinod - Hema, Parveen, Zeenat, Rekha, Neetu types just eye candy!

Before that, heroines used to have substantial roles in films. Be it Raj Kapoor-Dev Anand-Dilip Kumar films or even Rajendra Kumar, Shammi Kapoor, Dharmendra films, the actresses had something more to do in a film. Salim-Javed duo sidelined heroine, since then, till this date heroine remains in sidelines only except for some romantic films in 90s.

SRIDEVI - Plastic surgery/cosmetic procedures for heroines to "fit in":

Sridevi got her nose fixed to make it in Bollywood. It just sparked off a trend as Madhuri also got her teeth corrected, Shilpa Shetty had several things done to her face and till date we have girls ruining even their good enough faces with bullshit plastic surgery!
