Why penalize SRK for media's doing...Its a fact that when two movies release together...either one of them or both of them suffer..JTHJ would have been a BB if it had released alons and 3700 screens...I am sure SOS would have made another 30 cr too if the screen numbers were same as JTHJ and no clash...and I even think that If SOS was to release alone and on the same number of screens as D2...it would have probably beaten D2...Ajay Devgan is certainely someone to watch out when it comes to masala movies...

Agree on the blue part...

He didn't lose it this time either...the margin was very slim though😆😆...

Infact Karan...I had read somewhere on twitter...that Ajay's SOS...Akshay's K 786...Aamir's Talaash and Salman's D 2...will dig the grave for SRK's JTHJ...ab teen ki toh kabr JTHJ ne khod dee hai...agar single release hoti toh shayad 4th ki bhi khod dee hoti😆😆

Sorry to jump in but i disagree the media as said the matches esp Indo-Pak i read came ater 5 years and extreme cold weather are reasons given, also screens decrease when other movies come on. You dont live in India im assuming its not like abroad..and indians love matches but thats what media mentioned in articles..and D2 whenever a match was on the numbers were down esp indo-pak when no match numbers up explain why? And cold is in north then usual prob during 3i it wasnt as cold ..

But main thing i have maintained were D2 on EID and all media experts have said it do way better than ETT as it was the better movie and im comparing Salman with Salman..no one else!!

You know what honestly who cares main thing Salman beat all the actors this year and last year and only competition was ETT his own movie in 2012!! salman rocks !! And loved both movies!!

And D2 still in theaters!! 😊👏 Even abroad!! Woohoo!!

why veer,bring MAMK,yuvraaj and his other flops too 😆 but it wont change the fact with 3100 creens,extremely huge hype,single release it couldnt beat bodyguard or dabangg ,also ready (acc to BOI) 😉 so i dont think SRK could have beaten salman even with single release 😆

I know everything about India and what conditions were like during 3I. The cold was so much that Cold Wave had become a trending topic worldwide on Twitter due to Indians discussing about it! Even the US where it broke all records, had witnessed incidents of blizzards.

You can't claim it wasn't as cold. For that time the weather was coldest.

I know Indians' craze about cricket matches. But actually solid films do not get affected by such things.

During ETT there was extreme communal tension, rioting in several parts of India (including mass exodus of NE Indians in Bengalooru) still it did so awesome.

I did not just say it for Salman. I'd have maintained the same for any star's film. Weather etc. is like going overboard unless there's a huge calamity like an earthquake or a tsunami. I wish trade guys and fans stopped giving such reasoning.
