PKK was an average movie... Kurbaan was below average... saajan and sanam bewafa were super-hit, while baaghi was a hit.

and yeah PKK is a very under appreciated movie..and its sad... it was way too ahead of its time as per as technique and look of the film is concerned

AND U KNOW WHAT, the ending has been CHANGED.. initially the last frame was of Sunjay-Madhuri when they both hugged each other and finally the couple met.
But going by the huge back to back successes of salman's initial films (mpk, baaghi, sanam bewafa) the editors/director decided to change it into a salman's climax and ended the film where he returned from sanju-madhuri and going back...thats why it still looks a bit unconventional to not end the film on lead couple (which is a norm in such love triangle movie) and quite different for salman's character in it, but it has been changed due to salman's popularity to focus the climax on him... that sort of craze he had that time in the industry (sadly 92 -93 crashed everything...but thankfully he cameback with the biggest hit of history HAHK in 1994)

infact saajan was sanjay dutt's first proper mainstream hit and salman's 6th but sh*tfare nominated sanjay and madhuri but not him 🤢 and also his songs were a craze that time!

Just see the picturization of this song of PKK "sun dilruba" and u'll see how technically ahead this film was as per 90's standards

I like all the films listed. Another one of my favs that is not mentioned here is Dil Tera Aashiq, not sure what year that was released. That was a cute film too, highly underrated.

Suryavanshi is one of my guilty pleasures. It was an awesome movie, when I first saw it, I found it as scary as The Poltergeist. 😆 This film also had decent music.
