The on-the-run romcom will go on floors a day after St Valentine's Day (quite apt?). And the crew will leave for the first schedule in Kashmir a day before. "Siddharth decided to shoot the majority of the film in the valley and went with his crew for the recce last month. They finalised all the locations where Hrithik and Katrina will shoot," the source added.
For those who missed the 2010 Hollywood hit, it is a spyon-the-run thriller replete with action. Needless to say, the Hindi version will match it blow-by-blow. "Siddharth has roped in Holywood action director Conrad Palmisano to choreograph the stunts for Hrithik and Katrina," said the source.
Incidentally, Conrad also directed the action sequences of Salman Khan's Ek Tha Tiger and YRF's upcoming film Dhoom 3.
And that's not all, the director has also planned for a music track to match the film's Hollywood predecessor. "Siddharth has always trusted Vishal-Shekhar with the soundtrack of his films – be it Salaam Namaste, Ta Ra Rum Pum, Bachna Ae Haseeno or Anjaana Anjaani. This time too, the composer duo have been roped in for Bang Bang," said the source.
Surely, Siddharth's three-yearlong wait to get on to a new project has been rather worthwhile.
